The origin of Happynecks

From idea to innovation

The idea for Happynecks® came about when Jerry, a physiotherapist, encountered many dentists with neck and shoulder complaints in his private practice. In addition, many patients complained of neck pain after dental treatment. Intrigued by these problems, Jerry contacted his partner Peter. Together they decided to investigate the ergonomics and support of the neck during dental care.

The Beginning of Happynecks

With the help of dental professionals they knew, they soon discovered that there was a lot of room for improvement. Peter then challenged Jerry to go to the drawing board and make a sketch of the ideal neck support in a dental chair. This led to the birth of Happynecks® version 1.

With feedback from dental care providers and patients, the product has been further developed into the current version. This has been tested by 151 patients, with 96% indicating that they would like to use the pillow again for their next treatment. This result strengthens our belief that we have developed a beautiful product that offers patients optimal support and comfort during treatment.
