Instructions for use Happynecks® Cushion

Follow these instructions for optimal use and maintenance.

Preparation

1. Packaging Remove:

   • Carefully remove the Happynecks® pillow from the packaging and check for any damage.

2. Cleaning:

   • Before first use, clean the cushion with a disinfectant cloth to remove any production or transport residues.

Use during Dental Treatments

1. Placement in the treatment chair:

   • Place the cushion on the backrest of the treatment chair, at the height of the patient's neck.
   • Make sure the widest side of the pillow is at the bottom so that it fits snugly against the patient's neck and shoulders.

2. Patient Positioning:

   • Ask the patient to sit comfortably in the chair.
   • Adjust the position of the pillow so that it supports the natural curvature of the neck and the patient has a relaxed position.

3. Check the Position:

   • Ensure that the patient's head is stable and that there are no uncomfortable pressure points.
   • If necessary, move the pillow slightly to find the most comfortable position.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. After each Treatment:

   • Remove the cushion from the treatment chair.
   • Clean the upholstery with a soft, disinfectant cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that can damage the material.

2. Deep cleaning:

   • For a thorough cleaning, remove the PU leather cover if possible (refer to the care instructions or manual for specific details).
   • Clean the cover separately with a mild detergent and water. Let it dry completely before putting the cover back on the pillow.

3. Storage:

   • Store the cushion in a dry, clean place when not in use to extend its life.

Tips for Optimal Use

• Adjust to the Patient:

  Adjust the position of the pillow for each patient to provide the best ergonomic support.

• Regular Inspection:

  Check the cushion regularly for wear or damage and replace it if necessary to ensure optimal support and hygiene.
